The Nourished Midlife Programme
Weight management during perimenopause and menopause can feel complex, leaving many women feeling as though they're losing control of their bodies. GLP-1 medication (such as Mounjaro & Wagovy) is one piece of the jigsaw and can open a powerful window of opportunity, but lasting change comes from using this moment to reclaim agency, understand your changing body, and learn how to support and nourish it—both now and for the future.
This small-group online programme combines evidence-based education, coaching and the power of shared lived experience to help you make the most of that opportunity. Together, we'll explore how to nourish your body and mind, build sustainable habits, preserve muscle, protect your long-term health and leave you feeling informed, empowered and confident to care for yourself well beyond your time on medication.
The Nourished Midlife Programme
One of the things that has shaped my approach to weight management most profoundly is recognising just how complex it is.
As a GP with a special interest in Lifestyle Medicine, I've seen first-hand that lasting change is about far more than calories or willpower. Our relationship with food, movement, sleep, stress, hormones, mental wellbeing, environment and relationships are all deeply interconnected, influencing not only our weight but our overall health.
I've also come to appreciate that every person's story is unique. For some, past experiences, including trauma or adversity, may have played a role. For others, it may be years of caring for everyone else, the hormonal changes of midlife, chronic stress or simply the pressures of modern life. Whatever your journey, there is rarely a single cause—or a single solution.
That's why this programme isn't built around blame, shame or perfection. Instead, it's designed to help you understand yourself with greater compassion, make sense of your own journey, and use the opportunity that GLP-1 medication provides to build sustainable habits that nourish both your current and future self—in body and in mind.

There is no one single, simple answer to this. This programme is designed to complement the use of GLP1 medications, to support women to continue to take it safely whilst optimising their overall health, including bone, muscle and metabolic health, and helping to embed lifelong behaviour change to support them should they decide to stop the medications.
Because weight loss is not the only outcome, or the complete picture. This programme helps you to complete the picture.

Yes, for now they are. Unfortunately, there is never one good time for everyone. These workshops are designed to fit into a lunch break at work or between school runs, but it will never be perfect for anyone. If there is a specific time or day that works well for you let me know and I may be able to evolve this for future cohorts.

There will be a maximum of 9 women in each group.
I’ve chosen this size very deliberately. It’s small enough to feel personal and supportive, giving everyone the opportunity to be heard and to contribute, without feeling overwhelming or pressured to share. It also works beautifully for smaller breakout conversations, where you can connect with others who may be navigating similar experiences. The aim is to create a space that feels safe, friendly and connected—where you can learn from the evidence, but also from each other.
